Plot
In the periphery of São Paulo, the very low middle-class dysfunctional and hypocrite family of Teodoro, Cláudia and the teenager Soninha have deep secrets. The religious Teodoro is indeed a hit-man, hired to kill people in the neighborhood with his friend Waldomiro. He has a lover, the very devout woman Terezinha, and he wants to regenerate, going to the country with her. Cláudia has a young lover, Júlio, who delivers meats for his father's butcher shop. Soninha is a common sixteen years old teenager of the periphery, having active sexual life, smoking grass and loving heavy metal. When Júlio is killed and castrated in their neighborhood, the lives of the members of the family change.

This erotic drama from Joe D'Amato (director of both previous 11 days 11 Nights movies) is spiced with voodoo rituals and makes for an unmissable experience. Courtney, a young reporter, is assigned to report on the story of a young woman who lost her husband in a bizarre voodoo ritual. He decides to take his highly sexed wife Connie (Valentine Demy, star of D'Amato's Dirty Love) on the trip to New Orleans, where she is drawn into a secret affair with one of the locals. Gradually captivated by his spell she eventually flaunts her affair in front of her husband and finally leaves with her new lover to join the voodoo followers. Torn between contempt for his wife's infidelity and fear for her life, Courtney is left to decide their destiny in a highly charged and pulsating climax.

The Favourite Game

While writing in a coffee shop, Leo shares a glance with Shell, a graphic designer who divides her time between Montreal and New York. Not long after, the young woman leaves her husband and engages in a passionate affair with the poet.

The Exotic House of Wax

I’m not sure, and I’m too lazy to check, but I think The Exotic House of Wax might be the first wax museum movie ever in which no animated wax figure (or corpse disguised as a waxwork) meets a hideous end by fire. That’s pretty much the only distinction this flick has going for it; it’s competent for the most part, and borderline clever in spots, but the strictures of the genre leave it as little more than late-nite cable TV filler.

During a brief wordless prologue under the credits set in 40 B.C. Egypt, Cleopatra (Yvette Lera) demonstrates that she was a particularly lusty monarch, more than willing to to swing both ways. Then mercifully (because the ancient Egyptian setting wasn’t at all convincing), we fast-forward to the present day, as four college friends prepare to say goodbye and go their separate ways after graduation:
